正面描述	The obverse carries a right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in intaglio at the right, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint with pastel tones of green, pink, and yellow. At upper left, a vignette of a falcon appears alongside the Jersey coat of arms shield bearing three lions passant, with the inscription JERSEY C.I. below. The central text reads PROMISE TO PAY THE BEARER / One Pound / ON DEMAND, with the facsimile signature of the Treasurer of the States and denomination numerals £1 repeated in the lower corners.
