Reverse description A bold intaglio vignette of Victoria Falls rendered in red, with cascading water framed by tropical vegetation and rocky gorge walls occupying the central field. The denomination numeral £1 appears in each of the four corners within guilloche cartouches, and the value "ONE POUND" is lettered in the lower centre flanked by floral ornaments; the printer's imprint reads "BRADBURY, WILKINSON & CO LTD – NEW MALDEN, SURREY, ENGLAND" along the bottom margin.
