Obverse description Blue-green on lilac and multicolour underprint, with an intaglio-printed vignette of Tutankhamun's golden funerary mask at right. The central panel carries the Arabic denomination and date within an ornate guilloche cartouche, flanked by architectural pillar motifs on both sides. The issuing authority inscription appears in Arabic across the top, with serial numbers printed twice in the lower margin.

Reverse description The reverse carries the English-language issuing authority and denomination inscriptions arranged across the face, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint with ornamental border work typical of Bradbury Wilkinson engraving. The design is relatively plain, with the security watermark visible when held to light.
