Obverse description Central vignette presents an aerial view of the Jebel Aulia hydroelectric dam on the White Nile, rendered in blue intaglio with fine line engraving. Arabic inscriptions appear at the top, including the issuer name and denomination, with two signature blocks and a date at the lower centre. A guilloche rosette occupies the right portion of the note, and the serial number appears twice in the upper right and lower left.

Reverse description Central intaglio vignette of a mounted camel postman, a traditional Sudanese desert courier armed with a rifle, set against a plain background with fine cross-hatched shading. The issuer name appears in an arched banner at the top, and the denomination in English is inscribed in a panel at the foot of the note. Guilloche watermark space occupies the left side, with ornamental corner numerals and a decorative border frame throughout.
