Reverse description A spread Prussian eagle displayed at the center of the field, with wings outstretched and a crowned head facing right; on the eagle's breast appears a small shield bearing the initial 'F' for Fridericus. Below the eagle, the denomination legend POLTURA is inscribed in large characters, with the date 1744 beneath it, and the mintmaster's initials AE (for A. H. Ehlers) at the base. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The composition is characteristic of the small Silesian billon coinage struck at the Breslau mint for circulation in Prussian Silesia.
