| Obverse description | The state coat of arms of the USSR — a hammer and sickle superimposed on a globe, framed by wheat sheaves bound with ribbons and surmounted by a five-pointed star — occupies the upper central field against a mirror-polished background. Below the arms, in the lower half of the field, the denomination legend ОДИН ПОЛТИННИК (One Poltinnik) is inscribed in two lines in large Cyrillic characters, with the date 2013 beneath a decorative divider. A circular Cyrillic quotation legend — «ЭЙ НЕБО, СНИМИ ШЛЯПУ!» (В.В. ТЕРЕШКОВА) — runs around the entire periphery, framed by an inner beaded border.
