| 裏面の説明 | A bold pattée-style cross of Crusader type occupies the central field, its arms extending toward the beaded circle that forms the inner border of the coin. The cross is rendered in the characteristic flat, hammered style of Cilician Armenian copper coinage, with the space between the arms either plain or ornamented with a small dot depending on the variety. The Armenian mint legend, identifying the city of Sis as the place of striking, is distributed around the periphery within the beaded circle. |

Oshin ruled Cilician Armenia during one of its most precarious periods — caught between Mongol suzerainty to the east, the Mamluk sultanate pressing from the south, and the slow erosion of Crusader buffer states along the coast. His copper pogh issues were the workaday coinage of a kingdom perpetually negotiating its survival, circulating through the port markets of Sis and Ayas at a time when Ayas remained a significant transit point for eastern trade goods moving toward Cyprus and Genoa.
