| Reverse description | Central square perforation flanked by inscriptions in the field on all sides, in a style consistent with Sumatran sultanate cast coinage of the seventeenth century. The legends surround the square hole within a raised rim, with the characters showing the characteristic stylized forms of Kawi-influenced script used in the Jambi region. The flat, cast surface displays the slightly rough texture typical of tin-lead alloy pitis coinage of this period. |
