Obverse description Left-facing diademed and draped bust of Queen Victoria, engraved in the Young Head style, with hair elaborately arranged in ringlets and bound by a coronet or small crown. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and drapery. The circular legend reads VICTORIA·DEI·GRA·BRITT·REGINA·FID·DEF·IND·IMP, separated by raised dots, running along the inner edge of a beaded border.
