The symbols include the conch shell, the endless knot, the lotus flower, the treasure vase, the parasol, the pair of golden fish, the dharma wheel, and the victory banner, rendered in low to medium relief. The central compartment bears the principal Tibetan inscription denoting the denomination and issuing authority. The overall design reflects a strong Tibetan Buddhist iconographic tradition. |
