| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, the papal arms of Innocent VIII displayed on a shield surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys. The shield is divided per fess, with the upper portion bearing horizontal bars (representing the della Rovere or Cybo family arms) and the lower portion charged with a bend and roundels. The surrounding legend reads in Latin, separated by pellet stops, running clockwise within the outer border. |

| Reverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, Saint Peter depicted standing facing, holding the keys of Heaven in his right hand and a book in his left. The figure is rendered in the schematic style typical of late 15th-century hammered papal coinage. The surrounding Latin legend, divided by the mintmaster's mark, identifies the saint and the issuing territory of the March of Ancona. |
