| 背面描述 | The numeral 1 in large roman-style characters occupies the centre of the field, set upon a plain ground and enclosed within a raised beaded inner circle. The circular legend ONE PIASTRE reads around the periphery, divided by raised dots at the nine and three o'clock positions, with CYPRUS arching across the upper field and ONE PIASTRE continuing around the lower half. The whole is bounded by a toothed outer border. The design is stark and typographically bold, reflecting standard British colonial coinage practice of the period. |
