The long print run spanning 1932 to 1949 produced enough signature and script variants to make this a genuinely complex series for specialists. Five distinct signature combinations are recorded, with the Lao-script overprint itself shifting mid-run from Old Lao to New Lao letterforms — and then again within New Lao, splitting over a single diacritical dot under the "O" in "MÔT." That kind of orthographic micro-variant is rarely the result of error; it typically reflects a deliberate official script reform, in this case tied to French colonial standardization efforts in Laos during the 1940s.
