Beschrijving voorzijde	Central vignette presents a tropical forest scene with tall trees set against a light guilloche underprint in blue and green tones. The heading INSTITUT D'EMISSION DES ETATS DU CAMBODGE DU LAOS ET DU VIETNAM arches across the top, with the denomination UNE PIASTRE in large letters at centre. Two signature lines for LE PRESIDENT and UN ADMINISTRATEUR appear below the vignette, with the anti-counterfeiting warning LE CONTREFACTEUR SERA PUNI CONFORMEMENT AUX LOIS EN VIGUEUR at the foot.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The left portion carries an intaglio vignette of Wat Xiengthong temple on the banks of the Mekong River at Luang Prabang, rendered in terracotta-red. A decorative column motif occupies the right side against a pale blue guilloche field. Trilingual denomination inscriptions appear in Lao, Vietnamese (MOT DONG), and Khmer script, framed by ornamental borders in the Indochinese architectural style.
