| Obverse description | Crowned and draped bust of King George V facing left, wearing Imperial State Crown and ermine-trimmed robes, engraved in high relief after the effigy by Sir Bertram Mackennal. The legend GEORGIVS V REX IMPERATOR curves around the periphery, following the scalloped contour of the flan. The portrait renders fine detail in the king's beard, facial features, and elaborate regalia. No date appears on the obverse. |
