The central device is encircled by an elaborate continuous band of interlaced arabesque and floral ornamental scrollwork in an Indochinese decorative style. The circular legend - INDOCHINE FRANÇAISE - runs along the outer periphery, likewise bordered by a decorative chain motif matching the obverse rim. |
