| Reverse description | A radiant dove with outstretched wings, symbolising the Holy Spirit, is depicted in the centre of the field surrounded by an elaborate glory of long straight rays emanating in all directions to fill the entire field. In the lower portion of the coin, the mint name ROMA is inscribed on either side of a small papal arms cartouche bearing the Altieri family shield. The circular Latin legend ·EMITTE·SPIRITUM·TUUM· is distributed around the upper periphery within a fine milled border, invoking the biblical verse from Psalm 104. |
