The portrait is executed in a finely detailed high-relief Baroque style characteristic of mid-18th century German coinage. |

| Popis rubu | Central shield bearing a three-masted ship under full sail, surmounted by a crowned Prussian eagle displayed. The shield is supported by two standing figures: a wild man (Wilder Mann) to the left and a robed Chinese man to the right, reflecting the coin's role as trade coinage for the Royal Prussian Asian Company. Below the main shield hangs a smaller escutcheon bearing the monogram of the company (KPACVE). A ribbon banner in the exergue carries the motto CONFIDENTIA IN DEO ET VIGILANTIA, while the encircling legend above identifies the issuing institution as REGIA BORUSS: SOCETAS ASIAT: EMBDÆ. |
