| Obverse description | The heraldic rose of Lippe displayed in the centre of the field, rendered as a five-petalled bloom with a raised beaded central boss and radiating stamens, filling the flan with no surrounding legend. The design is characteristic of the simple armorial coinage issued for the County of Lippe during the eighteenth century. |
