| 正面描述 | Central field dominated by the elaborate interlaced royal cypher 'LR' (Ludovicus Rudolphus) in ornate script, surmounted by a princely crown. Louis Rudolph ruled Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel from 1731 until his death in 1735, having previously held the smaller appanage of Brunswick-Blankenburg. His reign was administratively uneventful, but the principality sat within a complex web of Hanoverian dynastic politics — his daughter became Empress of Russia as Charlotte of Brunswick, mother of Peter II. Small copper pfennig issues of this period were minted primarily for local market transactions, and Welter 2489 documents a narrow production window of just two years before the type was superseded upon succession.
