Obverse description Central field features the elaborate crowned and mantled arms of the Archbishopric of Trier, rendered in a baroque decorative style. The shield displays the characteristic cross of Trier, surmounted by an ornate electoral bonnet or archbishop's crown. Foliate scrollwork and baroque cartouche elements fill the surrounding field. The overall design is characteristic of mid-18th century German ecclesiastical coinage.

Reverse description Central field bears the denomination numeral '1' above the legend 'PFENNING' arranged in two lines, with the date '1757' below and the mintmaster's initials 'NM' in the lower field. The lettering is in plain Roman capitals within an otherwise unadorned field. The inscription references the Pfennig denomination standard of the Trier archbishopric coinage. The reverse design is simple and functional, typical of minor copper coinage of the period.
