Obverse description The Brunswickian rearing horse leaps to the left over a mound of ground, its mane flowing and forelegs raised, rendered in high relief against a plain field. The legend, commencing at approximately 8 o'clock and running clockwise, encircles the central device. The mint mark 'F.B.' appears in the lower exergue beneath the ground line.
