| Reverse description | The reverse bears a five-line centred inscription in bold serif capital letters occupying the entire field, reading the denomination and currency designation. The numeral '1' appears in the first line flanked by pellets, followed by 'PFENNIG' on the second line, 'SCHEIDE' on the third, 'MÜNTZ.' on the fourth, and the date '* 1801 *' on the fifth line with the mintmaster's initial 'Z' below. The rim on the reverse shows fine milled dentils, and the inscription is set without an encircling legend. |
