Obverse description Quartered shield of arms surmounted by a princely crown, flanked by elaborate foliate mantling. The dexter half of the shield bears a chequered or latticed pattern representing the arms of Fulda Abbey, while the sinister half displays the personal arms of Amand von Buseck featuring scattered roundels. The composition is rendered in a bold, high-relief baroque style characteristic of German ecclesiastical coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. No legend is present on this face.

The numeral '1' appears at the top, followed by 'PFEN' on the second line, 'NING' on the third line, and the date '1747' at the foot, the whole arranged in a neat typographic layout typical of small German billon pfennig issues of the period.
