| 正面描述 | Central field bears the interlaced royal cypher 'W' in cursive script, surmounted by a ducal crown with prominent arches and jewelled band. Brunswick's copper pfennig coinage of the mid-1840s was struck under Duke Wilhelm, who had ruled since 1830 following the forced abdication of his brother Karl II amid popular unrest. The duchy operated under constitutional constraints imposed after those upheavals, and its coinage — though modest in denomination — reflected a stabilized but carefully watched administration.
AKS 92 and Jaeger 8 place this squarely within a well-documented series, but examples with full original red mint luster are genuinely scarce; most survivors show the even chocolate-brown patina that Brunswick copper develops with age.
