The letter is rendered in a bold, upright Gothic majuscule style. The design is entirely devoid of legend or additional ornament, consistent with the anonymous small-denomination coinage of the Bishopric of Augsburg during this period. The irregular flan edges are typical of hammered silver pfennigs of this issue. |
