| Beschrijving keerzijde | Elaborate frontal depiction of a three-towered Romanesque church facade, the central tower surmounted by a cross and flanked by two smaller towers each also topped with crosses, rendered with decorative arcading and a beaded base register. The architectural composition closely represents the Cathedral of Paderborn and is executed in the detailed, schematic style typical of 13th-century German bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the civic legend distributed around the periphery. |
