Obverse description Central shield bearing the Bavarian lozengy arms (fusilly in bend), rendered in a bold, angular style characteristic of late medieval hammered coinage. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the initials R and S positioned to the left and right of the shield respectively, denoting Rupert (Ruprecht) and Sulzbach. The overall design is confined to the obverse face, with the flan exhibiting the irregular contour typical of hand-struck medieval pfennigs.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description The reverse is entirely blank, as was customary for bracteate-style or uniface pfennig coinage of the period. No design, legend, or decorative element is present; the surface shows only the incuse impression resulting from the hammering process on the obverse die.
