| Opis awersu | Within a plain raised border, a frontal facing bishop's head wearing a mitre is depicted in low relief, rendered in the schematic Romanesque style characteristic of mid-13th century episcopal bracteate coinage. Flanking the head on the left is a tall crozier, and on the right rises a crenellated tower with an arched window, symbolising the ecclesiastical and temporal authority of the Bishop of Passau. Above the head, a stylised trefoil or floral ornament crowns the composition. The entire design is contained within a raised circular rim, with no legend present. The flan is irregular and shows typical characteristics of hand-hammered medieval silver coinage. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse, characteristic of a bracteate or thin hammered pfennig, displays a central frontal bishop's head wearing a mitre, rendered in low relief in a schematic Romanesque manner. The head is enclosed within a horseshoe-shaped or arched frame, surrounded by a ring of pellets arranged in a circular pattern around the central motif. The field beyond the pellet ring is plain, bounded by a raised outer rim. The design is incuse relative to the obverse, as expected for a coin of this thin, uniface or near-uniface type, with no legible inscription present. |
