Obverse description Facing stylized head surmounted by a pair of wings flanking a central element, with a fleur-de-lis positioned above. The effigy is rendered in the flat, schematic Romanesque style typical of mid-13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The design is set within an unadorned field on an irregularly shaped flan. No legend is present. The overall composition reflects the episcopal monetary tradition of the Salzburg mint at Friesach and Krems.
