Obverse description Facing crowned royal effigy depicted in a highly stylized, archaic manner typical of 13th-century Viennese bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The crowned head is shown frontally with schematic facial features, flanked on the left and right by the divided ruler's name legend. The crown features prominent crenellations above the head. The overall design is rendered in low relief within an irregular, roughly circular flan characteristic of hammered coinage of the period.
