| Obverse description | Cream paper with an orange wave-pattern underprint beneath an ornate Art Nouveau border of scrollwork and stylised foliate motifs enclosing a central cartouche, within which the large numeral "1" appears above the denomination in Gothic script and a faint eagle vignette is visible in the underprint. The issuer name "Der Magistrat der Stadt Glogau" is printed centrally, below which two manuscript signatures appear, with the serial number in red at lower left and "Serie I" in red at lower right. The redemption date clause is printed in black along the lower margin. |
