| 正面描述 | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a continuous pearl border following the coin's eight-sided periphery. Within this border, a circular beaded ring encloses the central field, in which the numeral '1' is prominently raised in the centre. The circumferential legend between the pearl border and the beaded circle reads 'BENEDIKT V. POSCHINGER' across the upper arc and 'OBERZWIESELAU' across the lower arc, flanked by floral ornaments, with the date '1917' appearing at the base of the inner field below the numeral. |

Issued by the Poschinger glassworks at Oberzwieselau during the acute metal shortages of the First World War, this piece is Notgeld in its most localized form — a private industrial token produced so that a single factory could keep paying its workers when the imperial coinage system could no longer supply enough small change. The Poschinger family had operated glassmaking on the Bavarian Forest site since the seventeenth century, and by 1917 the works were sufficiently large to require their own internal monetary infrastructure.
