Obverse description Divided shield bearing two fleurs-de-lis, one in each half, the arms of the Fugger family. The shield is set within a beaded circular border. The overall design is rendered in a simple, bold style characteristic of small copper emergency coinage of the early seventeenth century.

Reverse description Central monogram composed of the interlaced letters MAX, the abbreviated name of Count Maximilian II, surmounted by a star above and flanked by the numeral 2 to the left and 1 to the right, indicating the denomination.
