| Obverse description | The crowned coat of arms of the Kingdom of Bavaria is displayed centrally, featuring the quartered shield with the characteristic Bavarian lozenges and the lion of the Palatinate, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is flanked on both sides by oak branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow, their naturalistic foliage extending upward to frame the crown. The composition is set within a beaded border, the design executed in high relief characteristic of a presentation pattern strike. |
