Obverse description A stylized hunting horn occupies the central field, rendered in relief in the characteristic schematic manner of late medieval south German bracteate-style pfennigs. Three pellets are distributed across the interior of the horn's curve, serving as heraldic differencing marks associated with the Württemberg-Urach line. The entire design is encircled by a border of large raised pellets, typical of the period's hammered coinage aesthetic. No legend or inscription is present, the design relying entirely on the heraldic device for identification.
