| 正面描述 | Octagonal zinc token with an outer pearl border following the coin's eight-sided contour. Within the border, the issuer's name UNRUH & LIEBIG arcs across the upper field and LEIPZIG arcs across the lower field, each flanked by a small six-pointed star, forming a continuous circular legend. A beaded inner circle encloses the central field, wherein the large numeral '1' denotes the denomination. The design is bold and utilitarian, consistent with German World War I-era Notgeld token production. |

Unruh & Liebig was a Leipzig-based manufacturer of textile machinery, and this zinc pfennig is a piece of factory money — issued for use in the company canteen or works store rather than general circulation. German industrial notgeld of this type proliferated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as large employers sought to control where workers spent their wages, a practice that drew sustained criticism from labor organizers and eventually faced legal restriction.
