| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc token with an outer pearl border following the coin's eight-sided contour. Within the border, the issuer's name UNRUH & LIEBIG arcs across the upper field and LEIPZIG arcs across the lower field, each flanked by a small six-pointed star, forming a continuous circular legend. A beaded inner circle encloses the central field, wherein the large numeral '1' denotes the denomination. The design is bold and utilitarian, consistent with German World War I-era Notgeld token production. |

| Reverse description | Octagonal reverse mirroring the overall layout of the obverse. An outer pearl border traces the eight-sided periphery, within which the legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE (meaning 'small change replacement token') arcs across the upper field. A twisted rope or beaded inner circle frames the central field, which bears the large numeral '1' indicating the denomination. Three small stars are evenly spaced in the lower portion of the annular field between the outer border and the inner circle. |
