Obverse description The Bamberg lion displayed in the field, with the distinctive fishhook-shaped tail behind which the letter 'b' appears as a mint or episcopal mark. Five-pointed stars are scattered in the field surrounding the lion. The design is executed in the hammered bracteate-influenced style typical of late medieval German episcopal coinage. No encircling legend is present.

Reverse description Uniface strike; the reverse is blank and shows only the incuse impression left by the hammering process, with a worn and irregular flan surface consistent with late 14th-century small silver coinage of the Bamberg bishopric.
