Obverse description A stylized frontal head occupies the central field, surmounted by a prominent lily motif above. Flanking the head on either side is a sword rendered in low relief, the two blades extending vertically to frame the central design. Below the head, a heraldic panther or similar device is visible in the lower field. The overall composition is characteristic of Styrian bracteate-style pfennig coinage of the early fourteenth century, with bold, somewhat abstracted figural elements typical of hammered Austrian provincial issues.

Reverse description The reverse is uniface and bears no design, the smooth blank surface resulting from the single-die hammered striking technique characteristic of this type of medieval Austrian pfennig.
