| 正面描述 | A trefoil design dominates the field, with the Vienna cross (arms of Vienna) centrally placed within the junction of the three lobes. Each lobe of the trefoil contains one of three initials: H (for Hausgenossen, the minting consortium), W (for Wien/Vienna, the mint city), and T (for Teschler, Nicholas, the mint master appointed by Emperor Frederick III). The overall design is characteristic of the late medieval Austrian Pfennig tradition, struck on a thin, irregular flan with bold but somewhat crude workmanship typical of hammered coinage of the period. |
