Obverse description Facing bust of the bishop rendered in a bold, stylized Romanesque manner, depicted with wide staring eyes, a prominent nose, and an open mouth, wearing a mitre. The bust is set within a raised inner circle against a plain field, flanked on either side by small pellets or annulets. The striking is characteristic of 13th-century Austrian ecclesiastical bracteate-related pfennig coinage.
