| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by the crowned arms of Meissen, consisting of a shield barry of six, surmounted by a stylized crown flanked by decorative foliate or floral elements. Above the shield, a row of pellets or bezants forms an ornamental border typical of Saxon bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage. The coin is struck on a thin, irregular flan characteristic of hammered medieval silver issues, with a beaded border encircling the design. |
