Obverse description The crowned Saxon arms — the barry shield with a diagonal bend — displayed centrally in the field, flanked on either side by a symmetrical spray of palm branches that curve inward beneath the shield. A royal crown surmounts the escutcheon. The entire device is contained within a continuous pearl border encircling the coin's interior rim, with no surrounding legend.

Reverse description The denomination numeral 'I' appears at the top of the field, with 'PFENNIG' inscribed in bold capital letters across the centre, and the four-digit date '1807' immediately below. The mint-master's initial 'H.' is placed in the lower field beneath the date. No surrounding legend is present; the design is framed entirely by a continuous inner pearl border matching that of the obverse.
