| Obverse description | Two adjacent shields of arms displayed side by side within a rhombus-shaped (klippe) field: the Austrian arms on the left and the Silesian eagle on the right. The date appears in the upper portion of the field above the shields, while the initial letter 'F' for Ferdinand is positioned below. The composition is characteristic of the hammered klippe coinage of the Breslau mint in the early sixteenth century. |

| Additional information |
Ferdinand I inherited the Bohemian crown in 1526 following the death of Louis II at Mohács, and the Breslau mint was among the first Silesian institutions brought under Habsburg monetary authority. This pfennig is an early product of that administrative transition — struck within twelve months of Ferdinand's accession to the Bohemian throne. The FuS#2 reference places it among the foundational issues cataloged by Friedensburg and Seger for Silesian coinage.
