| Obverse description | The Saxon coat of arms displayed centrally within a shield, barry of ten sable and or, surmounted by a crancelin (rautenkranz) in bend, rendered in relief. The shield is flanked by elaborate foliate and scroll ornamentation filling the field. No legend is present; the design occupies the full flan in the typical style of small hammered copper coinage of the period. |
