| 备注 |
Gefangenen-Lager Chemnitz issued this note in the final year of the war, when the German military's internal camp currency system had become a logistical necessity — ordinary Reichsmark coinage was officially prohibited in PoW camps to prevent hoarding and escape funding. The 1 Pfennig denomination is about as low as camp scrip gets, suggesting it filled a genuine transactional gap in the camp canteen economy rather than serving any symbolic function.
Alexander Wiede was a local Chemnitz commercial printer with no particular specialization in security printing — camp notes at this level were procurement jobs, not prestige commissions.
