Obverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the field, with a shield on the breast bearing the arms of Styria — a panther spitting fire. The imperial crown surmounts the two heads at the top of the design, flanking and dividing the two-digit year date, which appears split to either side of the crown. The eagle's wings are spread broadly, rendered in a bold, somewhat archaic style characteristic of early 18th-century Austrian provincial coinage. The coin features a beaded border running along the entire circumference.
