Reverse description Facing bust of Saint Vitus (Sankt Veit), the patron saint of Carinthia, depicted crowned with a prominent jewelled crown rendered in bold relief with pellet decoration along the band and a triangular finial above. The saint's stylised frontal face is flanked by simplified drapery folds, rendered in the flat, linear manner typical of hammered medieval silver coinage of the region. The surrounding legend reads SANT VЄIT, identifying the effigy.
