| Reverse description | A crowned imperial orb set within an ornate lobed or cusped cartouche frame, with the last two digits of the date divided on either side of the orb in the field. The orb displays the cross surmounting a globe bisected by a horizontal band, rendered in the style typical of late 16th-century Saxon coinage. The overall composition is enclosed within a beaded or rope border. |
